April 1st, 2008:
- April is National Backpack Safety Awareness Month, and the Chiropractic and Wellness Center wants to help out with a flyer about backpack safety and an offer for students to get free spinal evaluations!
November 13, 2007:
- October was a busy month at the Chiropractic and Wellness Center! Our staff was out in the community promoting health and wellness. But we also want to make sure that our patients and their friends and family are healthy and well. On October 30th we celebrated Patient Appreciation Day. We had good food, fun and those who came received free adjustments! On November 1st Dr. Leidich offered to new patients a consult, an exam and x-rays for free. In exchange for these services, patients brought in non-perishable food items which were donated to the Durham Rescue Mission.
- This Thanksgiving, Dr. Leidich and staff, along with our patients, are joining efforts to Feed a Family. We have put together a list for a Thanksgiving feast and several people have contributed. Our list was completed quickly which shows the wonderful generous spirit our patients possess. Dr. Leidich and staff will be delivering the food to the family on Tuesday, November 20th. Thanks so much to all who have participated and made this endeavor possible!
- Please continue to bring in your pink Yoplait yogurt lids until the end of December. For every lid collected, Yoplait will make a 10 cents donation to the Susan G Komen Fund. Let’s all do our part to further this very important cause.
